Ordering Online
Smart Gift Solutions allows you to order
any gift online in complete confidence. The Shopping Basket allows
you to check and modify your order before you arrange payment and
delivery throughout the UK. All prices are full inclusive of
VAT at 15%. You can view your order at any time by clicking on the
‘View Basket’ link located on your right on each web page. When you
are satisfied with the contents of your shopping basket you can
click on ‘Checkout’ at which point you will need to complete 3 easy
steps to finalise your order. Your personal details, including your
credit card number, are kept private, and are protected during
transmission using SSL encryption, your details are 100% secure.

by calling us on: 0870 609 3448. We are available to take your call
from 9:30am until 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
If you have any questions or queries
regarding an order you have already placed with us, please email us
at
customerservice@smartgiftsolutions.co.uk. We will always
respond the same day, or alternatively, telephone us on
0870 609 3448, for a more personal service. Shortly after you have placed an order
with us, an email will be sent to you acknowledging the exact
details of your order. Non-acceptance of an order may be a result
of one of the following:
- The product you have ordered is out of
stock
- Our inability to obtain authorisation for
your payment
- The identification of a pricing or
product description error

Payment Options
Smart Gift Solutions accepts all major
credit and debit cards including:
Visa, Mastercard, American express and
Switch, Solo.
Should you wish to make a payment by
telephone, simply select ‘telephone’ from the ‘Alternative Payment
Menu’ at the checkout. We will call you on the telephone number you
have provided.

Product
Substitutions
Occasionally our suppliers may experience temporary shortages. If
we are out of stock of a product, we reserve the right to substitute
that product for the same or superior quality product. This only
applies to our pre-made selection of gift hampers. We may apply it
to customised hampers, only if the product substitution is fully in
keeping with the theme of your hamper

Delivery Info and
Charges
All orders received before 2pm are
despatched the same working day. All deliveries are made by
either Parcel Force or Royal Mail. Deliveries will arrive
between 9:00am and 6:00pm.
Deliveries are made on working days only,
Monday to Friday. There are no deliveries at weekends, unless
you select our Saturday Delivery Service at an additional charge, or bank
holidays.
All parcels will require a signature on
delivery. In the event of no-one being at the
delivery address to take receipt of the gift, Parcel Force will
try again to deliver the parcel on the following working day.
If again, the recipient is not a home, Parcel Force will leave a card to inform the recipient on how they can rearrange
delivery or organise to collect their gift from their local post
office. At this point it then becomes the responsibility of the
recipient to arrange for the collection or delivery or their parcel.
In the event of a parcel being returned to us, we will refund the
cost of your order. If an error has been made by the customer, such
as an incomplete address, the cost of delivery together with the
same cost for redelivery, and possibly a restocking charge of
between 10%-50%, dependent on whether any items are perishable, will
be deducted from the total value of the order. We will do our utmost to make sure that
all orders are fulfilled and delivered within the timeframe
specified but should events outside our control prevent this we will
contact you by email and arrange alternatives.
For delivery to hospitals or hotels,
please include the recipient’s room number, and ensure before
ordering that the recipient is not scheduled for discharge within
the window of delivery. For
hospital patients in critical care parcel deliveries may not be
permissible. Please ensure you telephone the hospital or hotel
before ordering to inquire about their policies.

Gift Wrap and Message Card
Our gift wrap service constitutes high
quality gold or silver kraft paper with coordinating ribbon. A
decorative printed tag is attached with your printed message of up
to 200 characters.
A single charge of £2.95 is charged,
regardless of how many items are selected. Due to time
constraints or multiple orders this charge may vary. Gift wrap is included in
all pre-made and customised hampers and gift baskets. |

Privacy Policy
Here at Smart Gift Solutions we are
committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the
information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with
the data Protection Act 1998).
We collect information about you
for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly, to
provide you with the best possible service. At no time will we
provide any information about you to third parties. We will not
email you in the future unless you have given us your consent. Only
by signing up for our newsletter will you receive emails other than
correspondence regarding your order.
You have the option to remove your name
from our mailing list at any time.
The type of information we will
collect about you includes: your name, address, telephone number,
email address and your credit/debit card details. We will never
collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
We use technology to track the patterns
of behaviour of our visitors. This includes the use of a ‘cookie’
which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your
browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in
this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser

Shopping Guarantee
As strong as our passion is for creating
hampers, there is nothing more motivating to us than a happy
customer! If you, or your gift recipient, are not
100% happy with your gift we guarantee that we will immediately put
it right for you, refunding or replacing as appropriate. Please contact us immediately at

Order Tracking
Should you wish to track your order, you
will need to login to access our ‘Customer Service Menu’. To login
in you will need to enter your surname and email address you used to
shop with us.
Click on ‘Track Your Order’ from the menu displayed.
You will be able to view whether your order has been processed.
Your parcel consignment number will be displayed. The parcel
consignment number can be entered at the website address displayed.
The website address displayed will be either Parcel force or Royal
Mail.

Returns A
If, for any reason, you are not happy
with your order and wish to return it, or have received damaged or
broken merchandise, please contact us by telephone to speak to a
member of our sales team, or email us at
shopper@smartgiftsolutions.co.uk. We will advise you to complete a Returns
Form, located at
www.smartgiftsolutions.co.uk/returnsform.htm. You
will be able to indicate whether you would like a refund or an
exchange.
All returns must be packaged to prevent damage, with the
Returns Form enclosed. Send the merchandise using registered
post or other secure method of delivery, retaining your receipt
until you have received a credit for the return. Please note that the return costs are not
pre-paid. Postage or other return costs will be the customer’s
responsibility and will be reimbursed by us only in the case of
damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied goods. You must return the
goods, together with their packaging, in the same condition as
supplied to you.
For unwanted goods, not damaged or
faulty, we charge a restocking fee of between 10% - 50%, dependent
on whether the goods are perishable, or received in an
unsatisfactory condition.
Both the despatch and return costs will
be the customer’s responsibility. All goods must be returned
within 14 days
of purchase, otherwise we will not be able to refund you.

Unwanted Products - European Distance Selling
Regulations (DSRs)
- By law, consumers in the European Union have
the right to cancel a contract for the purchase of an item within
seven working days of the day after receipt of the order.
- If you wish to cancel your order under the DSRs
we ask you to please notify our Customer Service team quoting your
name and order number, we will then arrange for you to be refunded
accordingly.
- Where you are cancelling your order within this
cooling-off period we will refund the cost of the item and the
cost of sending the item to you as follows:
- where you are returning an item that was part
of a larger order, we will refund any specific delivery charges
that you incurred for that item over and above our Standard
Delivery rate.
- where you are returning your entire order, we
will refund the Standard Delivery charge incurred.
