We're all driven to crave sugary or fat-laden snacks and most of us try our hardest to block these cravings. There's just something about combining sugar and fat that turns our brain to mush! But today why not forget all that stuff and indulge!
Caramel corn is a much loved American snack but you can quickly and easily make your own caramel by mixing up sugar and syrup until it caramelizes... yum!

Here's what you'll need -
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup Butter
2 Cups Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Corn Syrup
1 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Tsp Vanilla Extract
450g Corn
DIRECTIONS
Preheat your oven to 250 degrees
Place your corn in a very large bowl
Melt the butter and stir in the brown sugar, corn syrup and salt. Bring to the boil, stirring continuously.
After about 4 minutes of stirring, take of the heat and stir in the baking soda and vanilla extract.
Combine all thoroughly and then pour (slowly) over the popcorn, stirring as you go, so that all the popcorn is covered.
Place in the preheated oven for about an hour. Take out to check and stir every 15 minutes.
