Send a Gift to express
your appreciation and say Thank You!
There are many times in
our lives when we will find ourselves in a situation where
saying thank you is the least we can do. A lot of respect can
be earned or lost when it comes to our ability to say thanks
so make sure you do it properly! Think about it this way; some
favours that people do for us simply call for a note to be
sent; a prime example of this is after a wedding, you should
send notes in acknowledgment for the gifts that you received.
Other times however a little something extra is needed but
this is basically determined depending on why you are saying
thank you in the first place.
Thank you for….
You may find yourself in a
situation where you want to show your appreciation to someone
who has been looking after your pets or watering your plants
while you have been on holiday. Or maybe someone put in a good
word for you in a company and you got offered a job there. You
will also want to say thank you to someone if they helped you
organise a wedding or a surprise party or maybe you want to
show how much a friend helped you the other day with a problem
you had. This list could go on and on. The important thing is
that you recognise the fact you owe someone who helped you
recently and you act accordingly. So just how do you go about
saying thank you?
The gift of giving!
As I previously mentioned
there are time when your appreciation to someone can be
expressed through a note but there are times when a little bit
more is needed and what better way that saying I owe you one
than through a gift!
Everyone likes the
opportunity to indulge so give someone the pleasure of a sweet
tooth through a gift basket filled with, hmm; let’s say
cookies, muffins or sweets. A gift basket full of food items
such as these is less romantic but definitely more tasty than
flowers! It is exactly the sort of gift that you should be
looking into to show someone how much you appreciate their
help. It is a delightful thing to receive and is relatively
inexpensive to send.
These items are at the
lower end of the market price wise yet they always make a well
appreciated and long lasting gift. In fact it is often worth
going for a cheaper food gift basket as oppose to an expensive
one purely for the fact people are more likely to use items
that appear in the cheaper alternative as they contain
products that you can enjoy everyday, such as
cookies,
muffins
and sweets! But this doesn’t mean you are lacking choice in
these gifts, oh no, your
sweets can come in decorative bags,
mugs,
hampers or boxes and you get a wide selection so you can
pick and choose the favourite ones of the person you are
sending them to.
Maybe the receiver of your
gift is more of a muffin fan, never fear, how about indulging
them with a muffin and
tea basket? Or maybe you want your
freshly baked muffins tied up in the company of a balloon? Not
a muffin fan? Cookies it is then! Get them in a tin tied up
with ribbon or an
organic gift box. The choice is so vast that
I can’t even fit them all in!
My point is with gifts
such as the ones above, not only will you let someone know how
grateful you are to them but you will be doing it in a
meaningful way and one that doesn’t break the bank. So next
time someone helps you out let them know how much it meant to
you.
