Here's our Top Five Tips for Sending a BabyHamper...
You're not obligated to send a baby gift unless you have been invited to a baby shower, but of course it's a beautiful opportunity to share your affections and congratulations - wait to the birth announcement before sending the gift as it's still considered bad luck (if you're superstitious!) to send a gift before the baby is born
We are happy to send your gift direct to the Maternity Ward - but since a hospital stay can be very short in this age, do consider sending direct to the home instead. We are more than happy to deliver on a date you select or add special instructions to the delivery carton to leave with a neighbour or in a safe place so as not to inconvenience the new parents too much
If there is an older or younger sibling be sure to consider sending a gift for them too
- Consider including gifts for Dad too! We know Mum has done most of the hard work and often Dad does tend to get overlooked. If you're creating your own baby basket you might consider adding some beer or savouries for Dad and perhaps some bath treats for Mum
- Clothing is always a popular choice for babies but you might want to consider include a keepsake which can be treasured as baby grows. This doesn't have to be anything too expensive, perhaps a certificate holder or money box
