Aztec Hot Chocolate Recipe
There are so many reasons to love Winter! As the Season begins it always seems like a long stretch ahead of us, it gets dark too early now and it's getting a lot colder. But think chatting around a cosy fire, Christmassy scented candles, hot delicious casseroles and my Winter time favourite.... hot chocolate! This delicious hot chocolate recipe is made with chile peppers and cinnamon, guaranteed to heat you up in no time!
Aztec hot chocolate, popular in Mexico, is a thick and spicy drink made with Chile peppers to naturally stimulate your circulation which raises the body temperature... just what you'll need for these cold Winter days.

1 Cup of Milk
25g Semi-Sweet Chocolate Pieces
1/4 Tsp Instant Espresso Coffee Powder
1/4 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
Pinch of Chipotle Chile Pepper
Sweetened whipped Cream (Optional)
Simply combine all the ingredients into a saucepan, excluding the Cinnamon.
Heat gently and slowly bring up to the heat you require.
Decorate with whipped cream (if desired) and sprinkle with Cinnamon.
The above ingredients are measured to make one large mug of Hot Chocolate. Increase the measurements depending on how many mugs you are making.
