RECIPE for Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies
It's pumpkin season so we're sharing with you this delicious recipe for pumpkin chocolate chip cookies that are full of warm autumn flavours and a hint of cinnamon that will make your home smell delectably inviting. The recipe is a unique and delicious adaptation of the chocolate chip cookie with warm spices, that you will want to make again and again!
Time needed is just 20 minutes.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup Pumpkin Puree
2 tsp Treacle
3/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup Chocolate Chips
1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 3/4 cup Flour
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 tsp Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 cup Butter, Salted
Method:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium mixing bow, whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, nutmeg, and salt. Set aside.A whisk and glass bowl of flour, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg.
Beat
Beat butter and sugars on medium speed for about 2 minutes. Add pumpkin, molasses, and vanilla and beat until well combined.Diptych- Butter and sugar in a mixing bowl; pumpkin and molasses added.
Combine
Add dry ingredients to the mixer and beat on low until combined. Stir in chocolate chips with a wooden spoon. Creamed butter, sugar, and pumpkin with flour mix added; chocolate chips added to dough.
Scoop
Place 1/4 cup rounds of dough on baking sheet 3 inches apart. (Use a 1/4 cup trigger scoop for ease.)
Bake
Bake for 12-13 minutes until centre is set. Immediately press chocolate chips into the top of the warm dough
