Gift Wrap Inspiration for Cyclists
If you have a loved one who is a keen cyclist, here's a little gift wrap inspiration for you... this week's gift wrap idea is bike themed! I love co-ordinating gift wrap... when you have different gifts to present it's lovely to pile them all up so that they all coordinate with matching colours and themed papers, it's so much more stylish and fun, especially if it fits a theme your recipient is passionate about such as a favourite hobby.
We used a stunning paper in copper and grey "Art File Bicycles" from John Lewis. The quality of this paper is gorgeous which makes gift wrapping a breeze! At £3.50 for 3 metres on the roll, it is very good value for money. We combined the paper with John Lewis Kraft Gift Wrap in Copper. Again, luxury quality gift wrap and great value at £4.00 for 5 metres, so plenty for large items.
Ribbons were purchased from eBay - always great value, and if you know what you need, as we did, you can just tap it into the search bar and quickly find the ribbon you need at a great price. We wanted plain black satin ribbon with coordinating patterned ribbon to add a little detail.
As usual, there are simple rules to gift wrap so that you achieve a great finish... always gather everything you need together first. Always work off a table, not the floor, and always use double sided tape so that all your seams are hidden.
When tying your ribbon 4 ways, always make sure you cross the ribbon on the top side so that your ribbon is nice and flat on the bottom and sits flat.
So with all the gifts beautifully wrapped they looked very impressive! We guarantee any cyclist will be bursting with anticipation to unwrap such gorgeous looking gifts!
