Staff Happiness Isn't All About Perks and Money
We carried out a survey recently on our Facebook page because we wanted to find out just what you think are the most important aspects about working for your Company when it comes to personal happiness? Thank you for all your lovely feedback. It seems it simply comes down to being able to enjoy the company of your work colleagues, feeling appreciated and perks such as a coffee break with a good cuppa and a biscuit!
It's no surprise to us because our most popular gifts by far are our cookies and muffins which we often send as staff appreciation gifts. It reminds me too of when I worked within a large company, the highlight of the week was the round of fresh cream cakes we would all share! Eating them on our extended Friday tea break was the best bit and a great end to the working week, although having to actually do the cake run, not so good!

4. FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS
It's important to have that work/life balance therefore having some flexibility makes us feel more valued. Being able to change working hours around to some degree to suit our needs helps keeps us more motivated an productive.

6. HAVING A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH THE BOSS
Being able to approach the boss with ideas and feedback should be natural and authentic. A healthy, respectful relationship with your manager can improve your morale and productivity, and ultimately, it can boost your career.
